Deep clean

For a home that's overdue.

A deep clean is the right first visit for a home nobody has cleaned in a while, and the right reset before guests. It's the standard checklist plus the jobs below, which cost extra on a standard clean. Most homes then go to a standard clean.

Bathroom with a long white vanity, two mirrors and a tiled floor

What's in it

What a deep clean adds.

  • Kitchen

    • Inside the oven

    • Inside the refrigerator

    • Cabinet fronts and handles

    • Everything on the standard checklist

  • Bathrooms

    • Grout lines scrubbed

    • Soap scum removed from glass and tile

    • Vents and fixtures wiped

    • Everything on the standard checklist

  • Whole home

    • Baseboards and door frames

    • Blinds dusted

    • Light switches and doorknobs

    • Ceiling fans and vents we can reach

  • Windows

    • Sills and tracks vacuumed and wiped

    • Inside glass wiped

    • Window sills in every room

    • Mirrors

The price

How a deep clean is priced.

  • What decides the price

The size of your home and how long it has been since the last clean set the price. Heavy build-up is said before we start.

  • What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't

The oven, refrigerator and baseboards are in a deep clean, not on the extras list.

  • When you get the number

We text you the exact price in writing before you book. Photos by text help us set it.

  • If the job changes

If a visit would cost more than we agreed, we stop and call you first.

The visit

How a deep clean goes.

  1. 01

Step 1: You tell us the condition

Photos by text help. We read them and set the price.

  2. 02

Step 2: Two of us come, with a third on big homes

You get our first names the day before.

  3. 03

Step 3: We work room by room

A three-bedroom deep clean takes two of us about four hours.

  4. 04

Step 4: We walk you through

Or we text photos if you're out. Then the invoice.

Good to know

Before we come, and what we don't do.

  • Put away valuables

Cash, jewelry and papers should be out of sight or out of the house.

  • Tell us about pets

Put them in a room or tell us where they are. Heavy pet hair is on the extras list.

  • Leave a way in

Be home, set a code or lockbox, or give us a key. See the keys and codes policy.

  • What we don't do

Hoarding, mold, biohazards, heavy lifting and work at height. The services page says more.

Questions about this clean.

Do I need a deep clean first?

If it's been months, or this is our first visit, yes. After that most homes move to a standard clean.

Will you move my furniture?

We clean around and under what we can lift easily. We don't move heavy furniture or appliances.

Is the oven really included?

Yes, the inside of the oven and refrigerator are in the deep-clean price. On a standard clean they're on the extras list.
